So...

Either they are being idiots like usual and sitting on their asses for a year until October or November to release their new architecture.

OR... they might surprise us all with not only their new architecture but also their DMI chipset and maybe something more =o

I'm not holding my breath for anything impressive since their only shining moment have been the g80 architecture =\

True, I remember that long post someone did due to the fact that they had a whole lot of time to release it.

Which in turns means, that due to the fact releasing anything further at the time before 4870 would be considered overkill right?

Im just wondering how crazy ATI is gonna get when Nvidia releases the GT300 series. Seeing as Nvidia is just now getting into the GDDR5 stage. Maybe will have something to blow us away with again! Keep your hopes up.
