I am getting close to purchasing what would be my 3rd PC from digital storm and I am leaning towards a pre-built machine solely because I think less could go wrong on a pre-configured model during shipping and later on.

I don't need anything high end, I have always been a middle of the road PC gamer and for me a nvidia 960 or 970 would be fine, but I worry about the shipping of the pc and possible problems related to transit (boxes falling and such)

I would have to believe a PC they build everyday is a tried and true design and I am leaning towards a bolt, looks like a solid PC!  Does the Bolt have any problems with over heating?  Bolt seems like a safe bet versus trying to prebuild a new mid range design.

Any thoughts or experiences?

My computer arrived perfectly. As with all shipping there is potential for damage depending on the people handling it. In general it shouldn't be a problem.

With the water cooling listed if you have heat problems, slow down - you're enjoying that computer just toooo much.

I ordered a Vanquish 3 level 4, shipped it UPS from CA to Denver,CO. It arrived in excellent condition. The box was a little scuffed on the outside but the Rig rode in a space cushioned by air and cardboard. No complaints here.
I ordered it on Monday and it was delivered on Friday.

My custom pc arrived perfectly as well sure the box was a little scuffed but the system was totally fine.

Had mine shipped through USPS from CA to AR
