if you res is above 1900 x 1200 or you play crysis then you get:
you can't compare a regular drive to a good ssd, ssd has no seektime and small file speeds are much better, and those are the important ones, I would have gone with 1TB for HDD1 and no HDD2, then by end of 2010, I would have gotten a good ssd for a good price and use that as HDD1 and push the 1TB to HDD2 for file storage.
