Topic: Price Change on VANQUISH II Coming Posted: 16 Mar 2014 at 10:51pm |

Just wanted to inform everyone that the special pricing on the VANQUISH II is going to end within the next week. If you've been eyeing a new VANQUISH II system between the Level 2 to Level 4 configurations, now is the time to get one.
Following Upcoming Price Changes: Level 2 = $739 -> $799 Level 3 = $839 -> $899 Level 4 = $1,189 -> $1,299 Prices are going up due to new increases in overhead (assembly, testing, QA, packaging, advertising, service & support, warranty, etc.... The VANQUISH II line is definitely something we try to offer our customers the best deal on. However we're a business after all so we still need to ensure we're not loosing money on the systems. Just wanted you all to know before the new pricing comes into effect! |

I bought a level 4 last night and didn't even realize a special was on. Makes me even happier that I got in on time
While I'm here, I asked this in another thread, but will again here... what case does the Vanquish II use? I need to know the dimensions of it. |

WoW, for those of us checking out the older level 4 and seeing the newer level 4 then being told it was a price point decision. Then to find out it will only now be 100 dollars less then the older BETTER level 4 system has me scratching my head here.
I was leaning towards purchasing the newer level 4 taking my loses on the better mother board, cooling and turbo but I'm not so sure now. It's really not making much sense on what was said on the other threads. The changes were to help with more sales for a lower entry level machine to drop those higher end components, but you can't buy those components for 300 bucks. Now with the new price increase the systems will be right back to where they were before... |

Old vanquish level 4 was $1369 :/ only $69 cheaper for cheaper mobo and locked CPU. It is what it is. Definitely these new vanquish aren't better than old ones

There is probably a reason for the price difference, Alex would have to explain the reasoning behind it and i am sure he has a good reason.

As a business, we can't continue to offer the VANQUISH at the recently lower margins, it just did not make sense for us as we have to cover overhead costs, etc... Even though we're basically loosing money with the current pricing, we're still keeping the prices at these levels for the next few days to give customers a chance to purchase one before they go back to normal levels.
The previous Level 4 that sold for $1,369 versus the new VANQUISH II for $1,299 provides basically the same level of performance. It's still an Intel i5 CPU and an NVIDIA GTX 770 2GB graphics card. Customers save money and get the same level of performance. It's not as if we're charging the same $1,369 price for lower end parts. We actually have customers calling in that own the $1,369 system and are interested in changing to new VANQUISH II with the $1,299 price point because they'll get the same gaming experience. |

Hi Jonsaibot and welcome to the DS forums. I have it on very good authority that the price change will be effective before the weekend starts. If you are planning to order the Vanquish II, models 2 - 4, at the reduced rate, I recommend pulling the trigger as soon as possible. |

Take the Vanquish I level 4 back, clean it up and sell it to me. Problems solved... Edited by poppy - 18 Mar 2014 at 5:57am |
