With all those fans, shouldn't I have one of these:
Touch V12XT Aerocool Temperature Display & Fan Controller
installed?
And what does the configurator mean when it says you have to have a chassis airflow update before the controller can be installed?

You don't t need and really shouldn't do much with the cooloing fans. The HafX fans are quiet and best to keep parts cool when left to do their thing. I would save your money and leave a great working case to work the way it was designed. But, as always, its your decision. Hope this helps.

A small problem arose yesterday.
The WiFi modem selected, the ASUS PCE-N15, would not let Win7 load to some degree (or at all), so it was replaced by the Filemate 3FMPCIMWN-R instead. I need a WPA2-PSK solution, and at first blush, the Filemate didn't seem to support it. A download of the manual from their site showed that it does support the required encryption.
Back to the testing chamber it goes ...

It will be awhile, and still images only.
I was not prepared for the box being relatively flat and square, nor open-able from one of the flat "faces". I misconstrued the "this side up" symbol to mean "open whilst this side up". The pilfer-proof tape holding the box flaps secure had dislodged from the bottom, so when I cut the tie-down straps, the underside nearly exploded open due due to the way the protective packing was stuffed inside.
So now I had one very heavy box (about 70 pounds) with flaps that wouldn't stay closed until I made use of a roll of duct tape on a small nearby table.
A full unboxing will have to wait 'til I maneuver the beastly box closer to the room it's intended to occupy, and that will probably be next week sometime.

System arrived, I installed the caster wheels to maneuver it around easier, watched the YouTube video about re-seating everything, started it up and ...
I'll get more pictures when I put this thing in the room where it's supposed to go. It's temporarily on a dining room cabinet with the monitor on the table.
