They can if you want to wait for them. As in, "You Dream It, We Build It."

However, it can take up to 1-2 weeks to get to those speeds stable. There are stability risks and concerns with speeds that high as well which you may have to look into.

they call $3000 ?

I couldn't get a 920 at 3.7GHz for a $6000 from dell or hp, how much does the same equipment cost at fnw? an arm and leg I'm sure.

$3000 for a machine with those specs is a steel, and these guys say the price is hi?

atleast unlike G4 they had enough brain to put DS at the 90% category

That's great, I haven't picked up my copy of PC Gamer yet, but will buy it this weekend.

I was noticing they only did the i7 920, imagine what the benchmarks would have been for them with the i7 965!

DST the people who buys PC at that price cares a lot about things beyond just performance. It being able to say I have a Ferrari, yes I could get a a similar performing car at less price, but it would not be a Ferrari. I feel the same way about Voodoo, DS might be able to build a PC that performs better than the Voodoo, but it's the other aesthetics for which Voodoo charges your first born Ouch

that is not the same thing, a Ferrari represent speed and looks not because of the paint job but because of performance, fnw is no Ferrari, first off they don't have their own products, second they don't have the faster car here, or the better car here.

these guys are PC builders, they don't have their own parts, so what makes one so much better then the other? the fact that fnw rips you off and charges you so much for paint makes them a great company?

I mean the fnw costs $3000 more and its slower, and you want me to say that fnw is better then DS, just because of a paint job? even tho DS has the faster pc? I'm a bit confused, but are we talking pc builders or painters?

also, DS can get you what ever paint job you like also.

I'm all for a good looking rig and a great paint job that is worth the price, but first and formost in the list is performance.

the better car has better performance first, the it has the kickass rims, paint job, sound, etc. etc.

I hope the god you don't think I'm buying my PC here because I can't afford a fnw or voodoo, cause that is furthest from the truth, I just don't want to pay more for something like a sucker, when the same exact thing can be bought at a very creditable/quality company for a lesser price.

I mean I have no reason to pay fnw $1000 for a 280 GTX with a custom paint job when I can get a 295 GTX GPU for less from DS (theoretically speaking). the GPU does not care where it came from, so the 285 GTX with a custom paint job from FNW, is not a better GPU just because it came from FNW.

its like if instead of PCs they were car dealer, now you think your BMW 328i prices at $40000 is better then my 330ix for $37000 from DS?

just because its from fnw and has a custom paint job?

so the fact that my car is faster, handles better, is a higher model and costs less does not make it a better deal/car then yours? I don't' see how that works-out.

I don't know what facts you used to put fnw or voodoo ahead of DS.

I mean correct me if I'm wrong but don't we qualify PC builder by these criteria:

1. quality
2. price
3. customer service
4. customization/ paint job.

now you need to explain to us how voodoo and fnw is better then DS using those criteria?

after you have proven how fnw and voodoo are better in quality, price and customer service, then I will bow to you and say you are right voodoo and fnw are better then DS. you won't even need to bring paint in to the picture.

We went with a 1000W PSU to have a strong upgrade foundation. When you want to upgrade the system, such as drop another video card in, do you really want to re-wire the entire system for only a $35 save?

It was a joking allusion type of ending by referring back to the first paragraph.  The magazine is known for their humor.  If you read the beginning paragraph, they were talking about the difference between competent directors and outstanding directors.

The last sentence was left dangling so you could fill it in yourself for the obvious answer.  You were to assume the winner was the Digital Storm Gaming Dominator.
