When I called I was told - the other one was for something else.  This was a few months ago - I really don't remember.  There is no quality difference.

(Then again the configuration utility has been known to be... strange.)

Hi Slimshady1398,

It must have something to do with the computer model you are customizing. I don't see the option in the builds I work with. What computer are you looking at?

Hi Slimshady 1398,

I think he his talking about the graphics card OC options one is free the other is $45 and both say the same thing: "Yes, Overclock the video card(s) as much as possible with complete stability".   Even when you click on "more options" the specs are the same.

I don't see any difference and as in the past DS sometimes offers options that are free.

Its the same option, the one that costs money is displayed as a reference for the fact that you are getting it free whereas DS (possibly) used to charge for it.

Thanks for the heads up, the FREE upgrade on this was a promotion that isn't actually valid no more, the team just removed the FREE option now.

You can still order it with the free option if you have a saved configuration.

The difference is zero between the free and non-free version.
