I think this will be perfect for use in Qatar. I am assuming I can play my blu-rays through this and the TV? Just using the screen?
Oh and Alex if you see this....how about my sexy Behemoth as the system of the month? Why not a laptop? Wish I could get it painted orange. With a skull of course. Edited by oldlady RPGer - 07 Feb 2015 at 3:43am |

Congrats, RPGer. That sucka is more powerful than most desktops.
For movie playback you'll need to get a seperate playback package. PowerDvd 14 is one that's come up. Good luck. |

Rockin' the DS t-shirt all the way to the Middle East is cool, but won't you already be there when this machine ships? I mean I know this is going to be a beast, but is it really going to take 1015 days (2 years and 9 months!!!) to build and ship?!?! That means your limited expert care warranty will be good for 3 months! (of course I'm joking, but the "Ship Within 1015 Business Days" made me laugh) Looks like a beast OL! Grats to you and my jealousy burns so bright. |

Grats!
Show the Qatari what DS is all about! And I'm glad I'm not the only one that chuckled at the 1015 day ship time. |

Didn't notice the time! Hope they get it to me before that I'm getting old.
Hi Alex. Would it be possible to get that storage Drive 2 changed to a 1TB WD Black? The more storage the better. I am off to work and am working the next 4-5 12-14 hr. nightshifts. So might not get a chance to call you guys Monday morning(must have sleep). thanks for considering my system for "BEHEMOTH" of the month. I love the name! |

If you had a second SSD, you could put them in a RAID 1 config...I know that cuts down on storage capacity, but I saw in another thread you were worried about up-time if any of the components should fail.
There are a few external devices coming out (Samsung T1 comes to mind) that have pretty fast access times and are compact and portable. |

Hi oldlady RPGer,
I don't see a "Black Edition" or even a 7200RPM 1TB drive on the website, I will check with the team for you first. Feel free to send me an email as well. |

Definitely this. If you go with PowerDVD, you'll need to buy the Pro or Ultra editions for the Blu-ray playback. Standard will only play DVDs. There are other apps out there that will play Blu-rays, but not many. I've been using PowerDVD for years now and have not had issues playing Blu-rays on my last three systems. |

Yup Im going to get the CyberLink PowerDVD 14 Ultra. Looks great.
Looking at the Samsung T1 I might as well get a another Samsung 1TB 840 EVO. Have the two drives with 840 EVOs. Alex I guess I could change my order for two 840 EVOs 1TB SSDs. G'night Edited reference to removed post. -- Snaike Edited by Snaike - 09 Feb 2015 at 2:47pm |

Just be aware that there is no TRIM capability on the T1 through the USB connection. There is a Samsung garbage collection utility, I believe, so be sure to occasionally run that to keep the drive performing well. Samsung is looking into seeing how the TRIM command can be passed through the USB link, but no guarantees.

That should work great for you.
I'm seriously looking at getting a 1TB 840 or 850 EVO (only about 20$ difference in price online, so leaning toward the 850) as a third drive for my Krypton, but I don't have the spare cash right now. Really want to make a dedicated game drive for all the stuff I have now. |

WOW already on stage 5! Guess I will not change anything and let it roll. I think for what I'm doing I have enough storage.
60 games (or more). But pretty much all are on Steam. Well I could have the Behemoth by next week it looks like. "The Cube" VS "Behemoth" who shall win power over me. (Said in my best Joss Whedon voice) |

Love it!
Here is a list of our DS systems: Digital Storm Black Ops Syndicate. That's my highly modified "Cube" and still running strong since 2011. That's right it has a 990X Extreme and an X58 Sabertooth. Nah Nah Nah. Hubby's Digital Storm Laptop. Ah it works great but I don't remember the name. 15". Hubby's Digital Storm Bolt 1. I really love the Bolt and would take one with me to Qatar if I could. It's so quiet. Bought for a friend the Digital Storm Vanquish Level 1. He is not a gamer and it's perfect for him. He loves it. And now my Behemoth. All of our systems have been fabulous and when I do recieve my Behemoth I thinks it's time for a five system review. I mean who else has all these systems and can be honest with them all? |

8200 DPI is too fast for my UHD screen...I keep it at 4100 DPI most of the time, sometimes bumping it down to 2700 DPI for more precision (and 700 DPI when I'm in the UEFI). I can only imagine 16400 DPI going from corner to corner on a FHD screen.

Hi all. On Stage 6.
No rush because it would be nice to see a Behemoth as system of the month....nudge nudge. I use that Red Dragon mouse on my Cube/U3014 and I love it. Ya know I don't want to sound like a dick because that might come across when I listed my accesories. The reason I listed the accessories was for opinion and comments not to brag. I took a chance on the Sades Shaker Gaming Headset. Never heard of Sades. An IT guy at work said to get them and that they are fabulous. So all my goodies have arrived and I look forward to a review of them also to help everyone. Have a good friend who just doesnt understand why I am a gamer. How could I spend that much money on computers? And that what Women my age are gamers? She would never think to say that if I went on a 5K trip or bought a new car etc. But heavens a gamer! It's MY money and there is a whole underground of "Old Women" who game. So many of us older gamers are afraid to acknowledge that fact because of ridicule. And the Devs gear everything for 16-25 year(snot nosed kids) age group(boys). I have always maintained that a huge market is untapped because of ageism and sexism in gaming. Young people think we are white haired, walker using, slowwwwww gamers. Wrong look at my pic. Nuff said. Where I work the most popular App to play by the "girls" is Trivia Crack and Minecraft(on there phones). Rant over. |

I didn't take your posting your accessories that way at all.
For the record, I posted about the DPI of your mouse in a "Wow, that is awesome!" sort of way. I can barely handle my old Logitech G9x. I'm much older than 25 and still snot nosed though. My better half reminds me all the time. |

And I was just posting about how unimaginably fast a mouse with a 16400 DPI setting would be. Yes, some of these gaming components have extreme settings that will never-ever be used by anybody.
