Budget:
My budget is $2,000-$2,500

Expectations:
The most intensive thing done on my computer is gaming. I am looking for longevity with future games coming out.

Usage:
Gaming primarily. I mainly stick to one monitor, but I'm thinking of adding a second. I will only game with one monitor, most likely, however. My resolution is 2048 x 1152.

Special Needs:
None

Hello there. I'm looking strongly at the ODE Lvl 4, but want to make sure I'm getting the most bang for the buck (seems to good to be true). Are there any concerns I need to be aware of? Any concerns with the LX motherboard? I understand the ivy bridge seems to run a little hotter, but it seems that's not as much of a concern for the average user. Is there a better build for my use for my budget? I'm open to any suggestions, but seem to really be leaning toward the ODE. I just got back from a deployment and am looking at spending my money. Just need that extra push or reality check, I think. Thanks for any assistance.

If you want the most bang for your buck, the ODE line is perfect for you. The motherboard does not support SLI. Thermals should be perfectly fine as well.

Hi bashtor....Welcome to the forums.

For a gtx680 based system with blu-ray, SSD, iTB HDD, H100 cpu cooler, etc you'd spend about $2500 + for what the ODE 4 gives you.  You really can't beat it.

The mobo can't sli, but other than that it's good to go.

Hope this helps and good luck.Big%20Smile

Thanks to both of you for the response. SLI isn't really in my plans, so that's not an issue at all.   The ODE seems to meet all of my needs and then some. There may be an order from me in the next day or so.

... and so did I. Seemed like exactly what I want and still saves some money. Only thing that kinda sucks is that, seeing I'm currently stationed in California, I have to pay sales tax. Still best bang for buck from everything I've seen. Now the waiting begins. Thanks for the gentle push.
