I haven't had chance to play around with the new line of CPUs, likely won't unless a friend gets one Oops

Thats a oc of 5.5Ghz, there is no way that oc is stable or correct with that vcore or the vcore is not reported correctly.

We are not benchmarking here, so its not about how high our ocs go, we are more about how high can I go and have my cpu live at least 5 years if not longer.

with a 5.5Ghz proper stable oc, you looking at vcore of 1.5 or higher, at that vcore under 24/7 load your cpu will be fried in a year.

Got 4.7GHz on a 3930K @ 1.35v, so 5.5GHz is not totally out of reach in the mid 1.45v range (depends on the chip obviously).

I plan to run a 3960X at as high as it will go on water, so we'll see how long it lasts DST4ME. :P

1.8+ would be easy.

If you are using a Pentium from 13 years ago.

Hahaha
