lol...I fnally figured that out. I have the timings manually set. I upped the Bclock to 189 which put the RAM running at 1512Mhz, raised the DIMM to 1.65 and the VTT to +150 and Prim95 got an error in a hour. Dropped Bclock to 187, DIMM and VTT the same, RAM is running at 1496Mhz and Prime95 has been running for 13 hours...lol.

Yes it did pass. Thank you for asking.
Also it appears with the testing done with the super talent RAM that anything over 1500Mhz, the command rate needs to be set to 2T instead of 1T. All other timings are the same.
Right now Prime95 is at the 19.5 hour mark testing 4.0Ghz. Bclock is set at 191, Vcore at 1.375, VTT at +250 and RAM timings are 9-9-9-28-88-2T.
And Justin, thank you for all your help with the overclocking. I appreciate all your advice and time.
Maybe some help overclocking the 5870 next...lol?

This just started happening today on internet explorer with the mouse pointer. Every few seconds the mouse pointer toggles between the normal pointer and the busy pointer. Here is what the busy pointer looks like for reference.
I experienced this before when the overclock was over 4.0Ghz and the Bclock was set at 189. When I lowered the Bclock to 187, it stopped doing it until today
It only does this when on internet explorer. It does not do this while on the desktop or with any other program.
Does anybody have any ideas why it's doing this?

@rholyrag I was re-reading your thread here and I noticed your memory speed. Do you have 1333 memory? are you still currently at 1067mhz?

AndydViking, no my memory is 1600mhz and if my math is correct...lol, it's currently running at 1524mhz. Which memory do you currently have in your rig?
My Bclock is at 191 with a ratio of 2:8, which puts it at 1528 and cpuz has the memory speed at 762.1 and when I double that it puts it at 1524. Does that help?

@rholyrag Yes thanks alot it does help. In your first post I thought it said you had mem running at 1067 mhz. I have 1333 and it's holding back my overclock but I need to hold off buying higher rated ram for a bit but eventually will. Just wondering if you had run your OC with similar ram.

AndydViking, here is the mod I did. Prior to doing this mod and with a 3.9 oc, vregs at idle would be around 60C, and during Prime95 it would get up to between 85C and 90C. After the mod and same overclock, vregs at idle are between 46C and 50C, during Prime95 max would be between 70C and 75C.

WOW rholyrag you went all out then! Cool man. Mine aren't that high as yours were so I may try just putting a 40mm fan to it first and see how i like it.
Great temps drops with your modding though, sweet!
Thanks man,
