Oblivion, GOTY. DRM?

I've heard that the GOTY edition of Oblivion has DRM. Is that true? How bad is it? I know some games have worse DRM than others, like Crysis Warhead. I installed Oblivion GOTY on my old computer and never noticed any performance problems. Should I risk installing it on my new DS rig when I get it?

I think they should keep the GOTY eddition the same as they did with Morrowind back in the day, simply include the Vanilla game, along with SI and all the official plugins. Possibly it's a new thing going on in Bethesda, and I really hope it's not going to manifest in later Bethesda games. If so, I live near Rockville, so I'll be glad to sit outside yelling, 'You N'Wah!'.

To be honest, while DRM is a nasty bit of software, the non-pirate intentions are pure. From what I've seen from looking around, don't be afraid to install it, as it'll do nothing to screw with your computer on the whole, it's just the fact you have a bloated cancerous tumor with your GOTY eddition.

PS: Are their conflicts with unnofficial plugins with DRM?
