The prompt for the free upgrade to Windows 8.1 is not showing up on my Digital Staorm PC though it is for all my other PC's.

Mine didn't show up under all the regular updates section (in control panel) - had to go into the MS Store under Updates to get it...

How long did the install take once you had downloaded it?

For me it took about 20-30 minutes to d/l & install...

Sweet! I am jealous!   Where I live, I have been trying to get the cable company to come out here. It is rural but there are a lot of houses. I think they could make a good profit if they would run a line, but so far, no go...
