Budget:
I'm on a budget of $400-$600. This won't include mouse and keyboard.

Expectations:
I'm expecting to play most games 30-60+FPS, if possible. Single monitor. I want it to last me a year or two before I'd need to upgrade again.

Usage:
I'll be using this computer to play game and do basic webbrowsing (Facebook, Youtube). Games I play are (League, DayZ, Skyrim, BF4, etc).

Special Needs:
I want it to last and avoid getting damaged easily, I don't want it too loud or whatever.

Er, lowest price clocks at 700, and I'm not sure thats cut out for your needs..... I'd recommend you save a good 300 or so dollars. If you do that, you could be looking at a solid 4-5 years on that one computer!

@Majes, welcome to the forums.

As PCHammer has already pointed out, the cheapest gamming PC available from Digital Storm is the Vanquish II gaming desktop, which starts at $699.00. The PCs are preconfigured at four different levels, each with its own price. While good value, unfortunately, they are all above your stated budget.

Please take a look at the following graphic:

As you can see, the Vanquish II, level 1 meets your frame rate requirements.

Several Vanquish owners frequent these forums, so hopefully one of them will provide you with more detailed answers to your questions of noise and durability from their personal experience.

Just a heads up on those Vanquish benchmarks, the scores should be about 5%-10% better now due to driver updates since then.

I can speak to the Vanquish II level 4... I have yet to hear it. It's in a common room with the family and while I have headphones on, stressing it with all game below on highest settings, the only complaint from "she who must be obeyed" is that they can hear the sounds from the Turtle Beach X12s over my ears. Not the computer.

It's very quiet, even with the fans on turbo.

Durability.... very very strong Corsair 230T case. I would say its very durable. Just don't knock it off your desk.
