pretty much only line that caught me was
which means we should get roughly twice the capacity at the same price"
and
available somewhere in the Q4 2010 - Q1 2011 timeframe in capacities ranging from 40GB (X25-V) all the way up to 600GB. "

lets just hope the price moves down faster as time goes on Big%20Smile

Mmm, good stuff. Though I was hoping for 6Gb/s speeds, but half the price and faster yet works too.

I like how people still try to turn their nose up at them and claim SSDs will never be mainstream when their GB/$ cost practically halves every year and they continue to get more and more ridiculously fast. Conventional HDDs for mass storage isn't going anywhere for a long time granted, but SSDs (or similar) for an OS/apps/games drive is going to get real common real fast.

i hope it completely takes over but i definitely feel that currently it is not worth the $/gb for "gamers"
I'll have an opinion on it being worth the cost with photo/video editing pretty soonBig%20Smile

exactly! but this is great. now they are affordable (but not too afordable hopefully) along with a huge preformance boost. Can't wait till they come out.

and knowing the crappy laptop companies the ability to get the same thing for a lot cheaper with more space will make them stay away from it
