In anticipation of Skyrim and BF3, I am looking to place an order in the next few weeks.

This pc will be strictly for gaming, at 1900 x 1200 on a 24" monitor.

I anticipate adding another GTX 570 in a few months and a spare 1TB HDD.

One concern is PSU size, for eventual 2x SLI GTX 570's.

Intended build:
i5 2500K 3.30GHz
ASUS P8Z68-V PRO (Intel Z68 Chipset)
8GB DDR3 1600MHz
800W Corsair GS (Dual SLI Compatible)
1x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 1.2GB
Corsair A70 Dual 120mm Fans
1x (160GB Solid State (By: Intel) (Model: 320 Series)

Ticket Number: 575380
Total Price with Instant Savings: $1,943.00

I am upgrading from my 8/09 DS build:
i7 920 2.66GHz Overclocked to 3.80GHz
EVGA X58M
6GB DDR3 1600MHz
750W Digital Storm Certified
2x SLI Dual GTX 275 896MB

Any thoughts or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Simply change psu and gpu in the x58 pc, no need to upgrade to a whole new pc.

change the 750w DS to a 1000w corsair and either go with sli 570 now or single 570 and add another later.

your x58 build is perfectly fine, no need for new cpu/mobo/ram/case/etc.

as for that config you have, I don't like it, you might as well go with ode 3 instead, you get a lot more for your money.
