Need Help Selecting Desktop... Spending 2.5k-3k

Hey guys I'm not the best with building a computer and need some help.

- I want to build a computer that is able to play games that r close to maxed out on graphics card for the buck.
- Be upgradeable in the future but be close to top of the                  line now
- I want to edit videos and use things like photo shop and after effects without waiting for long loads and writing.
- Be able to support programs efficiently for being an entrepreneur and designing web pages for sites/services i plan on making.

Was wondering on Extreme 3 / Extreme 4 labor day model sales and how much customization and upgradeability they allow in the future with the motherboard that comes with it. Or if I'm better off looking at something you guys can draw up for me that fits what i'm trying to use it for.

Like I said somewhere in the range of 2.5-3k
Stuff I could use or do without...I don't really need a blu-ray player.

what resolution will you be gaming at?

Welll not sure how well you will do with games like wow that don't support sli but I think you should be ok, games that do support sli you can max out with high aa and af for sure, Extreme 3 / Extreme 4 will give you a performance of a 260 gtx in games like wow.

Hey guys im having real trouble deciding between my build and extreme 2,3,4 any advice

mu config is more powerful then the one you made Ace Of Life, 2 x 275 cost less and out performs the 295.

the problem with extreme 4 is that the PSU is gonna be loud and produce more heat from 2 x 295 and the 1200w psu, and the noise, the 1000w corsair is the best choice along with 2 x 275 GTX.

you can easily run 2 x 295 or 3 x 285/275 with a 1000w PSU, don't be fooled by the higher power PSU, the only thing it brings to the table is more heat and noise.

ace -- all of the prebuilts have onboard sound. Your best bet if you want to do your onkyo system justice would be to get a high end sound card after purchasing the system, or to do your own configuration with a good sound card. I'm not sure what would constitute a very good sound card, but I can tell you that if you're going to spend $1,000 on a sound system you don't want to hook that up to onboard sound lol.
