Just got the email that my Marauder lvl 3 is on a FedEx truck heading for me on the East Coast.
I'm really excited. This will be my first gaming pc instead of buying a HP or whatever from Best Buy and throwing a video card in it. Finally I'll be able to play Diablo III !! Looking forward to it! |

im playing Diablo III on my sons computer which is going to be a shadow compared to mine. Its not bad but it does lag from time to time but its also a real slow processor etc. The game is amazing IMO and will look great on your new system.

Yeah I can't wait. With my old setup I was able to play act 1&2 on lowest settings, but act 3 killed me. Would get like 3fps.

I just saw this rig today and hopped on the forums to check out any kind of reviews. Let us know how it is. I've been gaming for a long time now alternating between PC and consoles. I usually do as you said earlier and buy from best buy over the counter and usually end up disappointed in a year or so when the graphics improve and my machine is next to obsolete.
So far reviews seem positive for a Marauder level 3 and I noticed you asking about surge protectors and the like. I will most likely call DS before ordering to ask more questions but I am always appreciative of the communitites opinions. Once I buy a Marauder 3, what more will I or should I get as far as not having the thing blow up on me. I guess the talk about a power surge destroying my investment gave me goosebumps. |

I'm sure I will. I was immediately impressed by the quality look and feel of it all. I'm currently setting it up and restoring my backed up files etc. Can't wait to actually game with it.

For Verified Customer tag, the email for the forum and the one you used to order must be the same. Email [email protected], tell them the issue and they'll take care of it. The link is at the bottom of Alex' s post a few posts up. Good luck.

Still in process of downloading my backup from old computer (about 27 gigs) and I had to work tonight so no play time yet. I am impressed with how fast it boots and does what little I've done with it.
My only small concern so far was when I first tried to turn it on it would not turn on. I pressed the power cord into the power supply a little more firmly and it worked. |

I love my Marauder. It's very quiet, and very fast. I'm amazed at how fast i can do simple things in windows and gaming is awesome.
Only thing that suprised me is the size, wasn't ready for it to be so tall. Overall I love it!! |

I have it hardwired. My router sits on the same table as the Marauder so it's not an issue.

If you're thinking about getting one I say do it. I did a lot of research before buying. For me to buy all the components from Newegg.com and build it my self I'd save like $70 on the $1200 level 3. For me that's a no brainer.
When I got it and opened it up to look inside i realized that i would not have had the patience to neatly and meticously route the wires like they did. Money well spent in my opinion. |

No it was completely setup. I just wanted to open it up and have a peek.
I placed my order on 5/29 and it was in stage 1 processing until 5/31. I think it was the same day that it went from received to processing. |

I got email updates every time it went to a new stage. Once you get an order number you can check it on the website.
I paid with a credit card so I didn't bother checking it. |
