If anyone wants to fly multi-player in Microsoft Flight...hit me up here. I don't use a microphone but can use the text feature. My x17 laptop works great on Flight.
edit: forgot to add my gametag..... Zoom Zoom Air

I haven't tried out this newest iteration yet, any opinions on it versus the previous titles?

Well....it was good but the bean counters at Microsoft killed the project. They laid off the developers at the game studio and posted that there would be no more developement and no more DLC. Without anymore DLC, it will become boring fast.

I uninstalled it and did a clean reinstall of the OS to get all the GFW stuff off my machine. Back to the old standby of FSX. Here is a good write up by a former developer for the project.

Wow.. I had no idea! Thanks for sharing that bit of information, that actually bums me out a little and I never even bought Flight! Hopefully something good will come out of the base game, because that poster really seemed think it was capable of much more. Sadly, I doubt we have much to hope for since MS owns the code.

And yep, FSX has stood the test of time quite nicely, its just a shame Flight couldn't relieve it.

Well, all may not be lost. Lockheed Martin bought the source code for FSX from Microsoft and is creating a new Flight Sim. Most of the addons that worked for FSX can be transferred to this new sim although you won't find much discussion about that because of legal issues with the EULA.

There is a version 2 in the works so I'm waiting for that since it isn't clear how pricing will work. By that, I mean, whether there is an upgrade path or simply full price for the next version.
