Hey all,

So, I got the Digital Storm ODE-1 in/around February and am completely in love with it. It runs games beautifully and without problem, however whenever I play FPS's, I get pretty severe mouse lag. All of my FPS games are purchased through Steam, so it may be a problem with Steam, but I figured I'd post here and see if any of you have had any similar problems.

Most of the time, the problems can be resolved by going through the start-up commands on Steam, but Day Z hasn't been fixed by any of the usual (or recommended) means.

My driver's are up to date, as far as I know, and the mouse lag problem only occurs in FPS. Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

If the mouse allows, adjust and drop the mouse polling rate, Report rate, to 125Hz.

I got the G700 which is quite similar in shape to the mouse xii linked to. I love it. It's great wired or wireless.

Agree, have both the Logitech G700 and a Razer Mamba. Like them both ... I do prefer the G700. I go with the charge.      Strong

Other common precautions against mouse lag include:

1. Disable triple-buffering, if enabled

2. Don't use vsync; if you have an nvidia card, simply use adaptive vsync

(2.5 In some games, you might actually need to FORCE vsync to be OFF)

3. Irrelevant as it may sound, a vDroop setting change in the BIOS may affect responsiveness
