marauder questions

Budget:
Very strict either $800 or $1000

Expectations:
Able to play games like minecraft, left for dead, etc.
No huge bf3 or mw3/skyrim type heavy graphics games

Usage:
general purpose use, schoolwork etc.

Special Needs:
Able to play old games as aforementioned xp

I haven't even had my Digital Storm x15 laptop for more than a day and I'm already recommending them to my friends haha. After a little power supply issue, everything is going great. I'm amidst writing a full review in the general discussion section.
Anywho

My girlfriend is looking for a desktop computer to play simple games on now that I have this laptop, as well as games she's always wanted to play but her laptop has not been able to handle. If someone knowledgeable in the marauder's specifications could pop in and lend a tip or two, i'd really appreciate it. She is trying to decide on the level 1 or level 2 marauder, as mentioned above if the level 1 is sufficient to play those types of games, as well as multitask and do everything one would assume a gaming computer could do, then thats our best bet. She isnt looking for a top of the line computer right now and needs something affordable and also powerful.
(important note, needs to be able to run a minecraft server and play the game at the same time, small things like that)
