Budget:
- $800-$1000 Expectations: - I'd like to run Gmod, Minecraft, Mount and blade, Skyrim, Dark souls. - I'd also like to upgrade with ease. By this I mean I want a solid motherboard, CPU, PSU, and RAM. I don't want to have to rip anything out. Replacing a Gfx card or adding an SSD or a better CPU cooler isn't a big deal. I just don't want to have to end up replacing it from the ground up later down the line. Usage: - Game's, browsing Special Needs: - Dual monitors down the line? Thanks in Advance guys! I have my eyes on the Vanquisher ofcourse but I'm curious as to if I should hash out the extra cash for the lvl 4 or will I be okay with the lvl 3. The CPU and the Motherboard on the lvl 3 concerns me the most! Edited by VpoTT - 19 Jan 2015 at 7:58pm |

The lv. 3 is perfect for the games listed. However, if you plan to run Skyrim with tons of mods, you might be limited.
If you can shell out the extra for the Lv. 4, you will be set to run Skyrim with tons of mods at 1080p and any future AAA titles. |

Nav hit this one.. I have the level 4 and run dual monitors, ~heavily~ modded skyrim and the like. I've had nothing but great gaming.
For those of us on a budget, the Vanquish level 4 is just amazing. OH! .. and welcome to the forums! |

The cpu and motherboard in level 3 don't allow for overclocking or sli. If neither is a problem, then they work great together.

Hi VpoTT,
If it was me I would come up with the additional $420 and get level 4. That $420 dollars gets you a better GPU, a better CPU with Over Clocking, a better MB with SLI support, better cooling and a SSD. That is a bunch of bang for the buck. Frank Edited by FrankW - 20 Jan 2015 at 9:53am |

Just a thought while you're waiting.......The gtx 960 might be released in a few days.
If so, it might replace the gtx 760 at some point. When the gtx 980 was released the gtx 770 and 780 were stopped in manufacturing. Just speculation on my part as far as any future config changes. |

You're right, Frank. I think I'll hold off just a bit longer to get a better deal, thanks!

Rumor is, and we all know how that can go, the gtx 960 will be about the performance as the gtx 770 at the price of the 760 or better.
