ok cool so say I get 2 hard drives,300gb veloci raptor and 500GB Western Digital for a back up would this be a smart move?

they will soon make a book about this thread, the idiots guide to gaming computers lol.

yeah I can dual box on my machine now with like 15/15 fps (poor) but I used to run multiple instances of asherons call back in the day on this comp also, was a pain without a auto follow though lol.

think it will be cool if I could get this comp to 10 box and be able to raid by myself lol but thats wishfull thinking with the price range I have.

I remember that shaman boxing guy. Quite a few people complained about him for some time. Did ya'll ever see the guy running something like 52 accounts all on his own at one time? Its crazy.

Not at all, you questions are very common to be honest.

for the backup drive you need an external drive.

so

HDD1 = raptor - os/games/apps
HDD2 = 500GB - work/personal/media file storage
HDD3 = external drive for use to clone HDD1.

what you do is make your own external drive, so you choose what size HDD and what enclosure.

nah its not fake see people doing it often, most of them buy a bunch of cheap comps and link them plus monitors, thing is my wife would be mad if I had 5+ pos comps sitting on my bedroom floor lol.

also think how much heat they put out on a hot summer day and the risk of fire ect..not worth it.

and its just like playing one char, use keyclone so you only have to use one keyboard/computer and setup macros and 1-50 chars act as one if they are the same class. Porblem is one account is 15 bucks a month and it adds up, I have allready had 5 accounts for the past couple of years though.

another thing is right now there is 81 people browesing the dual boxing forums, 21k memebers think of the money that could be in making a computer just for multiboxing.

I know tons of people looking for computers for it and dont really know where to go and are just linking up a ton of junk comps.

raid will not improve your game playing, just use the raptor or an SSD instead if you want improvements in games.

So I found out today for the irs im ganna get a little over a grand less than I thought I was aka I got wtfpwned by the feds, so I had to make some changes and maybe I can play 3 instances of wow's at one instead of 5....

that build wont' work you can't stick a q9550 in a 650i.

you can't use 8GB of ram with vista 32bit.

get this instead and buy our monitor for newegg and you should save some money.

No, you need to raise your PSU if your GPU needs more juice.

your 750w can run up to 2 x 260+
