JUST ordered my new Lance Laptop!

Just submitted the order for my new 15 inch gaming laptop Lance! I can't wait to get my hands on this thing, have been looking for a smaller mobile gaming solution that can still handle the 880M. So far the CS from DS has been awesome, answering all of my questions in record time. There are very few Lance reviews out there so I will make sure to post one when I get it!

Congratulations on what looks like a fine build.  You're absolutely right in going for a laptop that will handle the 880M.  I've been counseling people not to settle for any less so that future games will run well, not just the ones out now.

I look forward to your review.  I don't have a Lance, but I'm considering it for future purchase when it's time to replace my son's laptop, so I'd love to hear how it compares to the Krypton (other than size) as well as other laptops out there.

I did get to hold one in my hands the other day, and it's almost exactly the same chassis-wise as a Krypton, other than being smaller.  Nearly the same ports, same cooling vents, similar keyboard layout, etc.  For those who don't want the bigger laptop, I'm guessing it's a great option.

I am looking forward to giving the world some insight on this mid sized laptop. That was my one issue with it was that there were almost no reviews on it during my research. I do know that its a Sager 8258 essentially and those I found alot of good reviews on. As far as the 880M goes, I did alot of research that confirmed what you said, its almost 25% more powerful than the 870M so to me that will only add to its longevity and staying power. The FPS benchmarking it was pulling was quite impressive and I can't wait to get my hands on it. I'll keep you all posted!

HELLO from my brand new beautiful L4 Lance! I just received it today and am currently downloading everything I want on this badboy. To include World of Tanks, BF4, SWTOR, and my numerous Steam games!

So excited. So far so good! Keyboard is bouncy and nice, the screen is gorgeous and this thing is just hummin! Cannot want to get her out for a test drive. Once I get this thing to where I want it programs wise I will work on getting a review written up!

I never knew the tanks left tracks in the ground until I got my DS rig... heck, I had to play bare bones minimum most of the time and hadn't seen 3/4 of the game. It was amazing when I first fired up WoT with ultra settings.. I never even fired a shot in the first battle.. I was just driving around giggling like a schoolgirl.
