Here are my Bios Settings
Frequency Control CPU Clock Ratio ( 20X ) CPU Host Frequency(Mhz) ( 181 ) MCH Strap ( Auto ) CPU Uncore Frequency (Mhz) ( Auto ) CPU Clock Skew ( 0 ps ) Spread Spectrum ( Disabled ) PCIE Frequency (Mhz) ( 100 )
Memory Feature Memory Speed ( Standard ) Memory Control Setting ( Enabled ) Memory Frequency ( Auto -> 1067Mhz ) Channel Interleave Setting ( 6 Way ) Rank Interleave Setting ( 4 Way ) Memory Low Gap ( Auto ) tCL Setting ( 9 ) tRCD Setting ( 9 ) tRP Setting ( 9 ) tRAS Setting ( 24 ) tRFC Setting ( 74 ) Command Rate ( 1t )
Voltage Control EVGA VDroop Control ( With VDroop ) CPU VCore ( 1.35000mV ) CPU VTT Voltage ( +150mV ) CPU PLL VCore ( Auto ) IOH PLL VCore ( Auto ) DIMM Voltage ( 1.600 ) DIMM DQ Vref ( +0mV ) QPI PLL VCore ( Auto ) IOH VCore ( Auto ) IOH/ICH I/O Voltage ( Auto ) ICH VCore ( Auto ) PWM Frequency ( 800 Khz )
CPU Feature Intel SpeedStep ( Disabled ) Turbo Mode Function ( Enabled ) CxE Function ( Disabled ) Execute Disable Bit ( Disabled ) Virtualization Technology ( Enabled ) Intel HT Technology ( Enabled ) Active Processor Cores ( All ) QPI Control Settings ( Enabled ) QPI Link Fast Mode ( Enabled ) QPI Frequency Selection ( Auto ) OC Recorvery ( Enabled )

Question about the Mem Frequency. Shouldnt it be 1600mhz and not 1067mhz. My Ram is the 1600mhz mushkin silverline series or at least thats what it should be.

wholt crap. lol lots of stuff to change, but I will not be able to get you some good stuff till tomorrow afternoon, right now, playoffs, and I have a ton of people at the house, and I leave at 5:00 A:M to look at a job tomorrow. lol the memory, is BS EVGA is misleading, the Mhz is based on stock B clock, so pay no attention to it.

Alright sounds good, Thx.
Lots of stuff to change lol?
*Edit*
What do you think about Speed Step?
Should this be enabled?
Mine is disabled.
I like to run the computer idle half the time.

Realtemp, and EVGA E-leet
once you have all the above programs installed, go into the BIOS and do the changes that I have made to your settings.
then F10 in the BIOS, and run 5 passes of Intel burn test at maximum level. if it passes and your temps are good, then in E-Leet raise the QPI to 183, then retest with IBT, 5 passes, if all good keep going up, 185, 187, 189, 191, 193, 195, 197, 199, 201. once you hit the thermal max of 85 stop, or if you have a bluee screen make sure you notice the error, if 101 add two clicks of CPU V core, if error 124 add one click to VTT
once you either hit 201 B clock, or hit 85C temps, then we can work on finalizing the overclock.
Frequency Control CPU Clock Ratio ( 20X ) CPU Host Frequency(Mhz) ( 181 ) MCH Strap ( Auto ) CPU Uncore Frequency (Mhz) ( Auto ) change to 16x CPU Clock Skew ( 0 ps ) Spread Spectrum ( Disabled ) PCIE Frequency (Mhz) ( 100 ) change to 105
Memory Feature Memory Speed ( Standard ) Memory Control Setting ( Enabled ) Memory Frequency ( Auto -> 1067Mhz ) not auto, make sure 1067 2:8 Channel Interleave Setting ( 6 Way ) Rank Interleave Setting ( 4 Way ) Memory Low Gap ( Auto ) tCL Setting ( 9 ) tRCD Setting ( 9 ) tRP Setting ( 9 ) tRAS Setting ( 24 ) tRFC Setting ( 74 ) Command Rate ( 1t )
Voltage Control EVGA VDroop Control ( With VDroop ) change to without V droop CPU VCore ( 1.35000mV ) up to 1.3875 CPU VTT Voltage ( +150mV ) CPU PLL VCore ( Auto ) change to 1.8 IOH PLL VCore ( Auto ) change to 1.8 DIMM Voltage ( 1.600 ) change to 1.65 DIMM DQ Vref ( +0mV ) QPI PLL VCore ( Auto ) change to 1.275 IOH VCore ( Auto ) change to 1.275 IOH/ICH I/O Voltage ( Auto ) change to 1.55 ICH VCore ( Auto ) change to 1.125 PWM Frequency ( 800 Khz )
CPU impedance change to less
QPI signal compensation to less CPU Feature Intel SpeedStep ( Disabled ) Turbo Mode Function ( Enabled ) CxE Function ( Disabled ) Execute Disable Bit ( Disabled ) Virtualization Technology ( Enabled ) Intel HT Technology ( Enabled ) Active Processor Cores ( All ) QPI Control Settings ( Enabled ) QPI Link Fast Mode ( Enabled ) QPI Frequency Selection ( Auto ) change to 4.8GT/s OC Recorvery ( Enabled )
PnP/PCI PCI Express Maximum Payload Size ( 128 )

some of the newer chips don't like the QPI signal compensation to less, set set it back to auto, and the cpu impedence to auto

lol, turn off the PC, hold to power button, if it is black on the re-boot you will have to clear the BIOS, and load your profile.

if you don't press anything nothing happens? your boot order must be messed up, you can change that in the BIOS you might have to hit load defaults, then load your profile
