We were having this discussion under your other posting in General Discussion. I don't have anything else, so maybe others will chime in with it now in the Configuration Discussion.
Good Luck. |

Do you think this setup could run 2 monitors because I would like them for gaming and streaming

The 2 monitors would be no problem. You could hook up 4 monitors if you wanted. Each added monitor does take some performance from the primary gaming monitor.

The 970 will handle 4 monitors but some motherboards limit it to 3. |

HI cmihelich,
I see you are looking at a Bolt 3 with a 960 GPU. I didn't see the other thread. If you are not locked into the Bolt you can get a lot more performance for the same money. This build has a better motherboard, faster GPU, better and larger SSD, bigger and better power supply with longer warranty . The 960 video card doesn't take well to OC so I'd upgrade to the GTX970. You also get much more power, 2Gb memory, doesn't compress colors reduce saturation of the memory bandwidth, etc. Just a much better card.

Frank I have to admit I like the Apollo, but irk if it will fit where I would put it. After looking at the comments I came up with this it is out of my budget but I didn't know what was necessary or not. (like the cooling system I choose)
this is my new configuration 1180474 |

I like this build much better. The water cooling is overkill considering the advanced air cooling it comes with but the colored tubes really add to the aesthetics. |

Hi cmihelich,
I am not a fan of the Bolt so other members can help you with that. If size is your primary criteria then the Bolt is a good choice. You were smart to get the 970 GPU over the 960. Frank |

I'm debating whether to keep the water cooling or get rid of it. It would save me money and keep me back under my budget ,but it would look cool, and add the extra cooling.
