I'm awaiting an ODE 1 that comes with the red lighting in it....how difficult would it be to change the color? I really wanted blue, but I figured it would be cheaper and easier to just change it myself, rather than pay the upcharge etc...is this a simple thing? If not, I can live with it, just curious...

It's fairly easy to change, you just need to purchase a blue cold cathode kit and swap the cathode tubes that go into the teal color inventor box, you don't even have to re-do any of the wiring.

I didn't realize the install is usually in pairs. I bought one blue light and changed it out no problems. The ODE comes with 2 red tubes. Oh well, I can always get another. It was like $8

I too would like to know how to hook up two sets of tubes...

The ccfl internal lights come with a square plastic box, called the voltage inverter. Mount it next to the other behind right side panel, behind HDDdrive cage, and connect the light tubes to one side and the 4 pin molex connector to a similar plug from psu. The switch mounts to the back panel, below other one.

Actually one blue light is better than 2 reds, so I'm fine. This is everything I wanted. Thanks again bprat for the monitor advice. the Dell is sweet.
