I am thinking that maybe there is something that the SLI and the 6 Core don't like. I am running all my games in window mode in SLI, and everything looks great, except the little blue bar on the bottom of the screen.

Does the bar get longer as you play?  Maybe an Experience Bar?

Well technically it doesn't really matter how many cores or threads your game has, as most games don't utilize more than 2 cores. (hence why i5's and i7's usually have nearly the same performance).

This all comes down to game profiling support for SLI really.

Down side of sli, not every game loves it. In fact, I'd comfortable say half the games out there kind of hate it. The struggle.
