Hello, I'll be buying the PC alone, so regular Price $1399 plus shipping. Also, wanted to know anything else I should expect, from reading other Configuration Discussion threads on Vanquish II.

HI PickleJMasses,
You have made a good choice with the Vanquish II Level 4. You are getting a lot of performance for your dollar. I suggest you wait for the standard Vanquish case instead of the alternative chassis. The standard case has a rear exhaust fan but the alternative case does not. Frank Edited by FrankW - 29 Mar 2015 at 1:15pm |

What to expect? Awesome gaming and a great machine.
One note: When you do plug in the monitor(s), make sure to plug to into the GPU and not the mobo. The mobo slots will (usually) be deactivated. I agree with Frank... Original 230 case! But then again, I'm biased as I get to look at one everyday. Edited by Snaike - 29 Mar 2015 at 1:20pm |

Sorry for late response, when do they restock? Or do I just choose the standard Vanquish case when it gives me prompt to pick either one in configuration section. Edit: Edited by PickleJMasses - 29 Mar 2015 at 1:40pm |

I agree with the original case - awesome cooling!
When you get it search file history - select another location - and have it store file history on drive E - the HDD. It defaults to keep history forever and unlimited size. Having it on drive E will save precious SDD space. Also if you want the 1Tb HDD formatted - do this before you store anything on it as it is set to one partition and you may want two (or more). grats on a super computer choice. |

I also would opt for the default Corsair 230t over the alternate K380. The 230t has 2 front and 1 rear fan for cooling. The K380 has the one front fan. The one advantage the alternate has is a cutout and mounting point for a side panel fan to add yourself to blow directly on the video card.

with this:
Extreme Cooling: AIR: Stage 1: High Performance Cooler with Large Fan and Copper Pipes and the fans on the GTX970 you won't need more cooling. I put mine thru the paces and never get to 75% fan speeds! |

Also, got Witcher 3 code and redeem it, but does it connect with your Steam account? I'm not to familiar with gog.com where I redeemed it? |

I just got yesterday didn't get to play with it whole, but ran just fine when I first turn it on. Today, I only got to download Fallout New Vegas so far and ran 60 fps without problem.
The only problem so far I have with this beast is PNY 970 only because of it having DVI-I port instead of DVI-D; however, it did come with VGA to DVI-I adapter so I could use a spare VGA cable I had laying around so I could connect to monitor. Question: If I use VGA port instead of DVI- D port on my monitor(ViewSonic VX2452MH) does that lower picture quality? Furthermore, I'm still novice with PC gaming and willing to get any tips from you guys. I love my new beast Thank you, DS. Edit: Here some pictures: Edited by PickleJMasses - 17 Apr 2015 at 6:32pm |

DVI-D carries only digital signal. DVI-I carries both digital and analog signals. Using the analog connector will NOT display digital video and is much less quality than either DVI-D or DVI-I while the DVI digital signals are the same. http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/221/~/what-is-the-difference-between-dvi-i-and-dvi-d%3F Use the DVI connector! |
