Hey,

So how many monitors are you all running?

I can't really decide between 1 or 3 monitors, I can't go with 2 because that would make me go mental because of my OCD.

I really need to decide how many monitors I really want, so if I decide to go with 1 monitor will the 3rd & the 4th GPU be no use for, would then 2 GPU's be enough, & would that allow me to run at ultra, max settings & 4K resolution on 1 monitor, & would the 3rd & the 4th GPU be no use for, no extra performance if I go with 1 monitor?

I'm going with the Asus 4K monitor, I'd like to be able to play on NVIDIA Sorround in 1080P if I go with 3 monitors & 4 980's. But I'm currently in the saving stage, & the 990 comes out sometime in 2015, & there's a rumor that's 980 Ti is coming out, or something else.

That sounds nice, that's what I want, but the more monitors I want the longer I'll have to phostphone the maximum Aventum II computer rig I want.

Exactly, the middle screen for gaming, 1 for web surfing & stuff, & the 3rd for movies, youtube & episodes.

What DS rig do you have?

I run two at the moment on my living room pc, but that's because I had to get rid of one for my 4k monitor in there.

On my main rig, I run 3x 1440p monitors. 2x PB278Q and 1x PG278Q.

I can't operate on one monitor at all. I'll lose my sh*t.

1 monitor on the go: laptop display
2 monitors at home: laptop display and LG 29" Ultrawide as my primary.

If three would fit in my workspace, I'd grab my previous 25" HP and throw that in the mix as well.  They're all 1080p, so not too much trouble with the mismatched sizes.

I'm using a Dell 30" Ultrasharp, U3014 for my main monitor and an older Dell 24" Dell Ultrasharp for a second one.  Like most using two monitors, I use the 30" as my main screen/gaming monitor and the 24" for other miscellaneous displays( email, web browser, manuals, etc.)

In the most non-condescending way possible... I have no idea how any of you operate on a single monitor setup. Like for real. It's so bad that I literally take my ipad with me every where and use it as an extended monitor when I'm forced to either use a workstation or use my laptop outside of the office.

I'm truly amazed by y'alls tolerance and productivity. And I mean that in a very sincere way.

If you truly feel like that, you can help the less fortunate (me) by sending a 2nd monitor...  preferrably 24" or larger... so I can make my 20" 1080p (with the vertical red line just off center) a secondary monitor and enjoy better productivity.

It would be appreciated.  Big%20Smile

Funny... as I sit here to think about it.. My grandson is a frist born, his mother is a first born, her father is a first born, his mother AND his father were first born...  both of their fathes were first born.

Yea... we're talking pure blood first borns here.  I think 1 4k or 2 1440s runs a bit low.  You keep this up and we're gonna start calling you Rick Harrison.

I have 3 24in monitors in an Eyefinity setup.

Eyefinity is almost not worth the trouble, but if you're going to only use the middle monitor for gaming anyways, the productivity increase from having 3 monitors is unbeatable.

Yea, I've never been a fan of eyefinity or nvidia surround. My basic OCD would hate the breaks betwen each monitor. It would seriously bother me.

But I totally agree on the more than on monitor. Once you use two or more... it's so hard to go back.
