Some change it every year, but I think a few years isn't unusual with the newer batches.

I would say it's safe to assume 5+ years with the fluid we use now. Back in the days, there were things that would cause fluid to go bad within 2-3 years, but now, the process has matured and it's far less likely you need to worry about this.

cool, (no pun intended) I was hoping that I wouldn't have to keep buying coolant each year. also, how much does each batch of coolant cost? or is there like a contract thing where buyers get free coolant when they need it?

You would have to buy any fluid in the future. Last I heard, they used EK brand for clear and Mayhems brand for colored. Online sites like performance-pcs, etc carry it. You can always buy it from DS directly.

Correct, just buy it from us or from online places. We recommend EK and use their clear fluid.
