Im looking to buy the vanquish 2 level 1

- NVIDIA GTX 750 1GB
- Intel Core i3 4350 CPU
- 8GB 1600MHz Memory
- 500GB 7200RPM HDD
- ASUS H81 Chipset Motherboard
- 430W Corsair CX Power Supply
- DVD-R/RW/CD-R/RW
- Microsoft Windows 8.1

I've been talking to my friends recently and they said that the i3 dual core sucks, now I know what I am getting out of $700 PC. I have also been looking around the web for people with the same level to see how they like it. I've gotten positive reviews but I'm still torn. Would this build be able to run games like DayZ and Rust on Medium-High setting with good fps? Also how upgrade friendly is this build because once i have more money I would love to upgrade the CPU and other things.

I am not familiar with those games. DS does have some benchmarks here for some fairly recent games: http://www.digitalstormonline.com/forums/vanquish-ii-benchmark-data-tidf22242/

Are you planning on running 1080p? The resolution you want to run at will effect the suggestions we have.

Every part in it is easily upgradable if you know how.   The cpu can be upgraded to a i5/i7,  the power supply can be upgraded to a larger one with ease, the ram can be swapped for 2x8gb sticks for 16 GB total and the video card can be pretty much any card out there with the right psu.

Upgradeable, oh heck yes. Look at the Corsair 230T case and you'll see this beauty has room for everything you can and want to install.

Unlike other "big name" computer OEMs, DS does not build 'dead end' systems, even in the entry level, or value, builds.

The entire system uses industry standard form factor parts. That said the motherboard is micro-ATX motherboard and doesn't support either SLI or Crossfire for multiple graphics cards. While some micro-ATX motherboards support 4 memory slots, this one only has 2 memory slots.

With those limitations, you can replace any part in the system and add any standard 3 5.25" optical drives/bay devices, 4 3.5" hard drives or SSDs and (4)2.5" hard drives or SSDs.

The motherboard does have two PCIe 1x slots for adding other add on cards. One of these would be blocked by a two slot graphics card (the level 1 comes with a single slot card).
