Saved Ticket #:1051643
So I am almost ready to make my purchase of my first DigitalStorm system need about one month more before I have the sufficient funds to buy one really hyped ,but I do have question regarding my power supply I have tried to do research on psu calculaters and videos explaining psu and I think I am more confused than I started :P. So if anyone can look at my saved ticket and give me some help on wether the current psu is good for the build, that would be awesome, Thanks! |

750 watt is fine for the system you selected.

That GPU has a total design power (TDP) of 145W and the CPU has a TDP of 88W. These are the maximum power draw at the manufacturers specified settings. My guess is that the rest of the system will come in <50W. Overclocking will increase the power draw a bit.
That said your choice should have plenty of power for that system. The sweet spot for most power supplies efficiency is around 50% of maximum load. |
