Hailstorm II vs Aventum II

Hi,

How many fans does the Hailstrom II come with? I know that for the Aventum, it's 17. However, the HS II doesn't seem to come with more than the stock Corsair 900D fans.

The Hailstorm 2 comes with the default 3 x 120mm in the front and a rear 140mm fan I believe.    The other fan options are  dependent on the water cooling rad setup.   A 480 mm rad in the top and another in the bottom would add 8 more 120mm fans in theory.   The bottom can also house another rad on the other side, but the psu blocks it to a 240mm rad usually. 

You could also just have fans added to the top, without a rad, and just for added case cooling.

Just to shed some light, the AVENTUM is a complete different ballgame than the HAILSTORM desktop lines. It features unique engineering and design elements that make it a far more high-end system. Check over both of the "Overview" sections on the product pages to get a good feel of how they compare.

If you have the budget, the AVENTUM is definitely the way to go.
