Hi, I was just wondering if ANYONE has managed to get Mac OS X running on their Digital Storm Laptop? Also known as a "Hackintosh".

I'm a longtime mac user, and i wanted to get a more powerful Digital Storm laptop. However, I wanted to know if anyone has gotten Mac OS X running on it, as I have plenty of money invested in programs and apps that are solely mac compatible. I realize this goes against a lot of you windows users but please bear with me :p

Thanks!

Nah, but I'm 99.9% sure it's possible as most of the parts I've seen used in a hackintosh build before.

Not sure on a laptop build, I've seen desktop stuff but that's completely different.

I've seen hackintosh's running on mobile gpu and mobile cpu's before. Don't really know if it's worth it, due to some glitching, but... yea

Alright thanks for the quick replies :) it sounds like its worth a shot. And if I cant get Mac OS x up and running, then I'll just have to adapt to windows once and for all lol. When I eventually get the laptop, I'll report back on weather of not I got it working, in case others were wondering :)

One small tidbit. Research the disk format used by OS X on Apple hardware. If it is GPT then you will need  to acquaint yourself with converting an MBR formatted drive to GPT.

I was planning on using my second SSD as a mac disk, so I don't think that will be much if an issue :)
