lol, if the BIOS is not correct for the CPU, like in the case with DS and their new chip, then the motherboard will not use the correct hexadecimal in the Intel registry to get the right calc, that is why realtemp GT, and the new coretemp, are the only programs on gulftown right now that will give correct readings, HW monitor along with the other crap temp programs use a built in database for calc, instead of locating the individual hexadecimal located in the registry of each chip, because they are different, unlike what the morons who write the HW monitor believe.

no idea why but when you said to imagine, I really tried
and for some reason I pictured a naked girl but half covered with a banner that has 4.4GHZ+ on the side of it running in a spring like weather in slow mo..
I think we're gonna need some pics alex, my imaination wonders off the topic too much

Just need to add some rainbows and unicorns because it is just all fantasy. lol
Gulftown's temps are very close to a 920's temps with the same clocks, which is very impressive considering 50% more powa

@Kyu How about instead of a banner... a paint on shirt. That should really fire up the imagination.
@justin Thanks for clarifying how that really works.
@Alex I knew there would be a NDA!!!

ok I see , the reason I ask is because uncle sam has laid some money on my lap and I'm going to do some upgrading while i have some Cash available. It may be some time before I will have the chance again. I do plan on upgrading to the fermi once it becomes available even if it takes two cards to support my multi monitors. and i figured id upgrade to the cheaper 6 core version rather than the 980x which I suspect it will be expensive. but if they dont come out till later I may just stick with what i have

I am wrong, lol I thought that the Fermi had 3 outputs so it would run 3 monitors, common sense. lol but no, no, no, need two cards to run 3 monitors...

I was going to wait for USB 3.0 mobos to come out to upgrade, but with Gulftown coming out, I'm waiting longer Let the overclocking begin! (Once it's publicly released) Aw what am I saying, soon as it's sent out to the gaming community. "Publicly released" always comes out a lot later than it's released to the gaming community Oh snap though, this thing's a 32nm with 6 cores? Does it seriously fit the LG1366 socket? Whoopeeeee
