Hello everyone!

The announcement of the TITAN Z made me immediately think of what an ultimate configuration that would be in a Bolt II. However, will it even fit? It seems like the card is more than 2 standard slots, maybe 2.5. And would the 700 W power supply be able to handle the load of the complete system?

Thanks for your thoughts!

I just read an article on the Titan Z, it made me think about having one in my system. Wow what a daydream. But at $2999, that is just a bit pricey..

WOW...$3000.  My guess is the 700w psu wouldn't be a problem if their last dual gpu card is any indicator, but haven't seen the dimensions.

What a beast.  Big%20Smile

The price is pretty insane... Seems easier to just get 3 Titan Blacks and be done with it...

Once we get it in hand, first thing I will be doing is popping it into a Bolt II

I agree fstcvc. The only reason maybe to go this route going a 'one card' route than SLI.  I'm not sure why gamers would go for this otherwise.

I fully agree that the price point of the TITAN Z is downright irresponsible. The (likely) performance of 2 TITAN Blacks for the price of 3.

But as the only way to possibly cramp the power of 2 TITANs in a Bolt chassis I think it has its rightful place. Evil%20Smile

From pictures, it looks like it is going to be a 2.5 slot or 3 slot card. If so, it will not fit in the Bolt II.

Yes Nav - from all that is being said in the forums that looks to be the case...

They can get on some where with that price tag though. I'd rather get two titan blacks for the same performance and a $1,000 cheaper.

I can see why the price is so high since its not made for gamers but more for the professional field, i was hoping for the 790 myself, had the money saved up and ready to grab it on release...sigh. they killed that one.

Wow! Just saw that the Titan Z was mentioned in the new review video together with the Bolt II and it's now an option in the configurator.

So congratulations for fitting it in there somehow despite being a 3-slot card. Big%20Smile
