Great laptop for 3D film-making

Everyone advised me not to get a laptop for 3D rendering, but I needed something I could carry with me on the plane because my school is in France. I just completed my first animated short, using my laptop for all the work, with the help of the school computers for rendering. I think the laptop could have handled the rendering though. It has performed super well. It's just as fast as a desktop and it supports my giant second monitor.

Agreed.  Depending on the rendering demands, your Krypton may well have been capable.  You have the right kind of GPU (NVS vs GeForce), so that's a definite plus.  Good CPU and RAM.

And I agree with Snaike.  Go, Krypton!  Awesome
