Hi there guys!

Recently, I've upgraded to the 780 and I've had a bit of pcb droop on the back end of the card. Are there any good GPU supports out there that you guys know of?

I've looked at the Scythe Ninja Wire, which is mostly out of stock most places and it's metal, which I'm a little worried about - don't want to accidentally short anything.

The next is the Power Jack from Powercolor. But it's also mostly out of stock and I'd rather be able to somehow raise the pcb from the power cables, because the fans seem secure. And the Power Jack is quite fugly...

So if anyone knows any good GPU PCB support, let me know!
Thanks!

Hi criTalon.... A backplate from EVGA, etc. is all I have for info. It mounts easily and adds support. Something to look into if you haven't already.

Good luck.

Edit.. been thinking about the problem.... I think if it was me, I would either get a piece of clear tubing and support from corner of card to bottom of case, or use a piece of clear mono-filament fishline and support it to the roof grates of the case. Fishline is almost invisible but up to you. I've used fishline around the house for a number of things like keeping the cats from toppling the Xmas tree.

criTalon I use the PowerJack and it works outstanding! Its gloss black in color and blends in and not even noticable. I have the EVGA HydroCopper 680s.

Thanks for the info and for the bday mention!

I have Galaxy's 780 HOF edition card, so it has a white PCB, which looks great in the ODE (600t) case. Otherwise, I would've gotten the backplate.
I guess I'll give the fishline a look.

I looked at the powerjack and was considering it. But taking a look at the GPU, it's the PCB that's being strained at the lower end, as thought the power cable itself is pulling it down. And the GPU case is locked in position. So pushing the card up from below wouldn't do anything -_-"

Thanks again everyone!

DS runs the power cables down the front lower end.Run the power cables out side of card. Makes for a cleaner look and the cards are more exposed.

Yeah, I'm probably going to reroute my cables so it runs out and up instead of the original out and down.
