Hello, I am looking to purchase a desktop replacement laptop but am unsure as to what kind of config I should go with.

My budget: Less then $3,000
Expectations: I hope for this computer to be able to handle new games for a while
Usage: Gaming for the most part. Some modding and schoolwork.

Here is what I came up with, please tell me what you think:
Total Price with Instant Savings: $2,963.00

Specifications:

Display: 17.3 Inch (16:9) (Resolution: 1920 x 1080) (Glossy Surface) LED-Backlit Display
Processor: Intel Core i7 2860QM (2.5 GHz Turbo Mode to 3.6Ghz) (Quad Core) (8MB Cache)
Thermal Compound: Premium IC Diamond CPU and GPU Thermal Compound (Reduces Thermal & Laptop Noise)
Memory: 16GB DDR3 1333MHz
Primary Hard Drive: Intel 120GB SSD (510 Series) (SATA 6Gb/s)
Secondary Hard Drive: 750GB 7200RPM (SATA 3Gb/s)
Optical Drive: Blu-Ray Player (Blu-Ray 6x) & DVD/CD Writer
Wireless Card: Intel Ultimate-N 6300 Wireless LAN Module
Video Card(s): NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580M 2GB
Windows OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium (64-Bit Edition)
Warranty Plan: Life-time Expert Customer Care with 3 Year Limited Warranty

Thanks in advance,

I would change from Home to Pro but overall looks like a great laptop.
