Sadly, no picture can really do the Aventum justice -- they are jaw dropping in person.

The Aventum?

Not hard at all -- you just take the panel off and blow it out -- but understand clearly that the system is very very clean inside and after about a solid month of use it never had a lot of dust and whatnot, just the outside, which I wipe with a soft cloth.

Also note, I keep my PC off the floor, at least 6 inches as I have a dog and carpet in the room it is in.

Easiest to clean PC I've ever had, mostly because it doesn't need it.

Regards,

Xii

@Spice -- Ab-so-lute-ly. I even named all the ninja sheep adorning the case. They speak to me when I clean them.

@Dath -- For sure man. Did I mention I love my Aventum?

@xii yes you did LOL. right now I'm gaming on a blue Half X with all the fans, I bought this from a builder hear in MI. the quality was soso and not very good on the support side. so next time I'm going to try Digital storm. it was Your review that made my mind up.

Well -- as humbled as I am for that Dathionk, Digital Storm did all the work. They are just the best. I really couldn't ask for more from these guys and this Popular Science feature doesn't do them enough justice. My only regret to date is I didn't know them years ago.

Regards.

Its true. There needs to be a Digital Storm awakening or something -- other businesses better watch out.

Just out of curiosity. How are the two loops divided? For example, the top radiator cools what components? And the bottom radiators cools what components?
Some say his middle initial is the letter U, and that he never understood the ending of Prometheus. All we know is... He's called The Stig.

The two bottom radiators (420mm each) cool the CPU in their own dedicated loop. The top 420mm radiator cools the graphic cards/etc if it's selected.

Alex is there another Aventum coming up in March? I'm intrigued by this system but want to know if I should wait!

It varies to be honest on each configuration. I know it's currently XSPC.

As of right now, yes, the EX series allow us additional room and enable the use of low RPM fans while still maintaining the performance of the thick RS radiators. Another advantage is the fact that we use so many radiators in the Aventum.

You mean the thick RX series, RS is thin, on low fans the RX still king, above 1500rpm ex starts to pull away.

Still nice tho, I had a feeling it was because of space.
