If your reading this Alex, could you post photos? |

Based on the price difference of 25$, I have a feeling that the Blue LED fans are the only difference. Some people were confused (or frustrated) by the fact that the sales image of the 922 at DS showed the system as having blue lighting, when in fact, it shipped with all red lighting. I'm going to guess that the "Blue Advanced" is just the same case but with blue leds (i.e. non factory) by default. However, that is all guesswork and I may be 100% wrong. The HAF 922 comes with one red fan in the front. You can turn it on and off with an LED switch on top of the case. The other two fans are not lit. DS has an option where you can add up to five fans(on this case) in red, blue or green.

The stock 922 comes with front and top fan only no side and only the front fan is red led, however you have the option of adding the side fan.
the 922 blue advanced comes with front and top fan both blue led, but there is no spot to add the side fan. The DS fan upgrade is loud and we don't recommend it. if you want a blue 922 with blue led fans, I would go with the stock 922 so that I can add the side fan, so that I have total of 3 200mm fans, and I would have DS use this fan for all three: haf 922 200mm blue led fan below is the advance 922, looking at the side you can see no screw holes for fan: below is the stock 922, looking at the side you can see there are screw holes for fan: you can always get the advance 922 and get teh side panel from the stock 922 to add another blue led fan, it all depends which way cost less and is easier. does that mean, if i replace all the fans with it, it will cost me 50$ a fan because of special order, or can you replace the non led fans with your high performance fans you guys stock (for free?)?

I'm not sure if they stock the non led fan, but you can call them and ask them that, the same with the price, if they told you one will cost $50 with shipping and all, then I would assume the shipping cost won't go up much if are adding 2 more fans to that order.
you can always add/switch the fans yourself if budget it tight. @Alex, My pleasure Edited by DST4ME - 19 Apr 2011 at 10:12pm |
