Hello everyone, just received my new Apollo gaming pc
I have been extremely satisfied so far with the help I have received from digital storm and I have never loved a machine so much in my life. If I am not sucked too far into the wonderful world of gaming I will definitely be posting a review with pictures. the fan leds on the front only switch between bright and dim and not off, is this normal? (everything else solved thank you) Edited by Apollo - 21 Apr 2015 at 9:20am |

DS or someone who uses the LEDS can better help with that.
For the graphics card the fans will probably stay off unless you are gaming or into intense graphics that bring the temps to 60C. Surfing and normal videos like youtube etc aren't generally enough to get the card's attention. You can download HWmonitor here. If you leave it running in the background it will show minimum and maximum voltages and temps. http://www.cpuid.com/index.php Leave your BIOS alone unless you are having problems. If you flash it wrong you will have problems and could crash your computer. Hope this helps. |

Thanks for the help, that is what I was expecting to hear but I just wanted some reassurance haha.
The fans on the graphics card did come on sonce it reached 60c, and man it is chilly in my whole room. I'll wait for the call from DS today just I am a bit busy so I wikk probably have to call then back. |

Hi Apollo,
The fans won't dim off, what you're actually seeing is the fan controller slowing the fans down and speeding them up, which is basically giving less or more voltage to the fans. |
