Its been a long time since i have been on the forums...

I have bought Fallout 3 on Steam and the game worked fine for about 3 or 4 startups, now when clicking on the icon the the game will not start. This is what i get.

Well, the simple answer to this is that Bethesda games react differently to every single computer.

Some things you can try include:

- Disabling Windows Aero Desktop while the game is running
- Running as Administrator
- Running in Windows XP Compatibility Mode
- Running at lower graphics settings
- Defragmenting the hard drive and/or registry

I have done all of these solutions on past computers, and one will likely work for you. Bethesda games are notorious for hangups and CTD's.

Good luck.
