I agree with the opinions on the facility - There should be a sign about 'the door' that says: "Where dreams are reality." That is.. insane in there.

This would be best placed in general conversation so more people see it but -- once a PC leaves Digital Storm your computer is strictly under the hands of the courier. However, I can testify that Digital Storm goes to EXTREME amounts to protect your package with their comprehensive packaging methods, especially if you ship it with the wooden crate option.
So in short, the type of shipping may or may not determine outcome, it all comes down to the courier but Digital Storm packs the PC very safely.
Regards,
Xii

Thanks Xii for the reply.
From what I've been told by some FedEx drivers, FedEx Express is handled with more care because the drivers are actually working for FedEx whereas FedEx Ground are working for a contractor.

What ??? Hmmm the main topic is Facility Tour. People are at talking about playing pool, wanting a job, ground shipping vs, express, FedEx employees vs contractors etc. The Popular Science article is another thread.

Not gonna lie I've always wanted a DS computer. Unfortunately I've never had enough moneys so I just stick to building, and upgrading my current computer hoping to one day build computers like DS, or work for them building them either or haha.

I have always wanted to build my own PC but never got around to it. I've worked in Data Processing/Information Technology/Internet Security/Help Desk(support)/Netware Admin/Groupwise Admin, so I know my way around a PC and do tech support. The problem is I got sick and could not build a PC that I wanted. My hands do not work correctly now and I don't have the dexterity. I did some research and found DS. I saw they could build a PC like I would have wanted, give me a warranty and talk to someone who is located in the U.S.A if I ever had a problem.
I am glad to show my PC to my friends and family. I am thankful for DS to be able to help someone like me given my situation.

Thanks DS for inspiring me to check off one item on my bucket list. I did just build my own and now hope it will be as operationally sound as one of your machines. I will be completing my driver updates and tweaking her shortly. Then, on to the testing stage. I'll shoot some pictures to you guys once complete and let you grade my first build. Be kind.

I have a question about careers at Digital Storm. I am a Computer Science major and am wondering if there are any positions in the system building, diagnostics, repair areas?

A majority of our work is fairly basic, something that would under utilize a degree in Computer Science.
