I tried playing the beta, but my computer was too terrible. I absolutely loves playing Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, and was wondering if ET:QW was anything similar and if it was any good.

Played the demo for over 20 hours and loved every minute of it. I bought the retail version a few hours ago, but am still in the process of reinstalling XP so I won't get a crack at it until later.
The game is very in-depth. Class balance isn't just recommended, it's actually required to complete certain objectives found throughout each map. It plays very quickly, and you're able to rejoin the action only seconds after respawns, unlike BF2142 (one of my gripes with BF). I'd definitely recommend it if your system can run it.
On a side note, TF2 is absolutely freakin amazing! Both are solid choices.

TF2 = Team fortress 2, new steam game that comes with The orange box aka half-life episode 2
Whenever I get my DS rig and if i dig the demo enough I'll probably get Quake wars, i just hope they add a decent objective mode.

Ah! I've seen that too. A little comical, but the graphics look fantastic!
