Help me... I'm a dual boot noob. I'm currently gaming in XP and have a Raid 0 setup. I want to pop over to Vista and play all of the same games whenever I feel like trying... what gives? Steam works, Crysis didn't, other MMO launch screens didnt....some installed programs arent. I understand Dual Boot is designed to separate things in some way so that you aren't clouding both... but it was my impression that you could still ACCESS both HD's from either or without a prob? Thanks in advance. |

Some installs rely on registry changes made to the OS when they install. It's much, much easier to have two partitions and install the applications you want to use twice.
Set up partitions/drives like this to avoid this problem: 1. OS 1 2. OS 2 3. Apps for OS 1 4. Apps for OS 2 |
