He probably doesn't since you never need it because the cpu cooler covers the ram a bit too.

on water cooled CPU's, there is no air movement around the the RAM, so it is always a good idea to have a RAM fan. RAM mc's can have stability issues at only 37C-39C so very good idea.

ok adding this to my thread to use for my review, I fear by the time I write my review, I will be purchasing my haswell/rockwell
cpu/gpu load temps while under full load:

I got 4 internal, 6 external. ssd and 9 hdds, all are different, I have seagates, WD black caviar, actually I think 4 are WD black caviar, 2 are seagate, 2 old WD, and one hitachi.
all of the externals are made by me, aka I got external enclosures and then got my own hdds and install them in it, 2 of them are single hard drive and then I have 4 of them in a hotswap quad bay external this one here, icydock quad hotswap bay.

intel has a 800GB SSD in production, not sure if its out yet, but estimated costs was almost $3,000, also they have a 400 and a 600GB not sure on prices though
