sandybridge server platform and extreme chips will have socket 2011(r).

haswell I'm not sure, it could be 2011, but knowing intel and how they have been doing past few years, looks like each socket won't last more then a year or so and they are family dependent.

I used to have a friend that worked at intel, not anymore, lol, no more good info for me.

trip was very, very good!  only thing to complain about was the cool weather, lol last year it was very hot, this year very cold.. Still an incredible timeAwesome
I believe the Intel ICH10 will be the last. Ninja
 
the trip was very good, this is about the worse day, and it still was great. LOL

tried to OC the camera, and it would not do squat,..LOL
 
Actually was "discussing" our tab with the waiter, his pesos to dollars math was off a long ways...about 50%..so .. UpsetLOL so I was boozed up and pissy for a second.

lol I'm lucky I had time to do the linx, I got lot of sutff to catchup on before I can play with this baby.

looking for the realtemp and hw shot I took while runing that, don't remember where they are , I'll find them and post them as soon as I find them, should have time to look for them a little later.

LOL HDDS anybody, why won't some of these die so I can stick in the newer bigger drives

I haven't even transfered/cloned all the stuff yet.

if any of the newer people that have not seen what multi hdd setup looks like, this is it, all you do is just click on the drive and it opens like a folder, you transfer files and etc back and forth between them all as if they were folders.




lol one my dvd drives is already dead.

N is an 8 year old hitachi that won't quite, lol no matter how much I want it to.

K and J should be on their way out I hope, but they are stubburn, N,J,K are all 8 years or older and are all ide, just to give you an idea , I got older drives but not on this system.

the ssd and 3 x 500GB 32mb cache are internal, the rest are externals.

LOL I like cloning cause it helps me move my data faster from one drive to another the drives/data have to stay separate.

LOL all the drives are gonna be filled up a good 2/3, I just have not transfered all the data from other drives yet, things are going very slow as far as getting this pc setup right now I'm just seting up the drives on the system and getting them ready for whats to come.
