Since the unit arrived I know we took it apart, determined it was the motherboard, tested a new replacement motherboard on a test rack, installed the new motherboard. I believe now it's in the testing phase and if all passes it should ship soon!
I'll ping our production manager for your @DST4ME and make sure it's on the top of our list.

Hey while it's still there why don't you ask them to swap out your 295's for 4 fermis? I mean you obviously have money to burn, so why not go the whole 9 yards.

@DST4ME,
As an update, we've finished fine-tuning your overclock to get it stable at 4.4GHz now. It passed our LinX and Prime95 test.
We're re-testing it again just to ensure it's stable. It should hopefully pass everything and go to QA for quality checks on Friday.
Warm Regards,
Alex

Not yet, we finished testing the overclock, etc and we begun testing the video cards on Friday with a possibility it would have gone to QA. It should be shipped on Monday or Tuesday the latest as long as we don't find any issues during quality checks. (I know it takes time, but, we rather ensure there aren't any wrinkles we need to iron out before the customer gets it).

Unfortunately not yet. The system passed our stability tests for the overclock (CPU, memory, motherboard) however, our video card test showed some issues.
We're currently pin-pointing whether some of the video cards may have gone bad when it was mishandled in transit to DST4ME.
We're doing the best we can to get this shipped as soon as possible, but the complexity of the system does make a very labor intensive task to remove and test components individually.
If we can iron out the issues with the video card test, it will ship Thursday or Friday.

Turns out stuffing $10,000 worth of highly overclocked electronics into a computer complicates things. Who knew?

It has four video cards that are liquid cooled and a massive radiator and additional components. There's a lot of heavy and sensitive electronic components inside his computer. It's not like a normal system.
When you factor in shipping, a lot can go wrong if it gets tossed around hard enough.
Even though we shipped it via wooden crate and packed it extensively, it arrived mishandled as the crate was damaged as well.
This time around, we are actually paying for freight trucking delivery just his system just to ensure it arrives safely this time.

I know you guys are doing what you can but at the same time as a customer I still don't have my pc.

Wow makes me re-think my decision to buy, i already went through this depressing nightmare with smoothceations.com and i do not want to do that again. Especially since you paid for the wooden crate and you still suffered damage. I know it's a gamble but my choice is to pay local sales tax here at my favorite shop puget custom computers where i can drive my rig there and pick it there or roll the dice.

UPS/FedEx FTL
like a lot have said, they go NUTS sometimes. think someone once had their system KICKED off the back of the truck once.
anyways, most systems weigh about ~30lbs.
DS's system, with 4 dual-GPU video cards and a hell of a lot of liquid cooling, i'd expect maybe ~50lbs or more

His system was over 100LBS to be honest. It's no normal computer, we're about 4 dual GPU video cards liquid cooled with full coverage water-blocks. That alone is a lot of weight. Factor in two massive radiators full of water, four hard drives, two pumps, a massive 1500W power supply, and the large Corsair chassis, and you got yourself a massive and delicate piece of hardware.
We've actually found the big problem with his system. The sheer weight of the four cards are causing the motherboard's PCI-Express slots to flex and give issues.
We're working on a way to mount a bracket into the chassis to hold the cards up and prevent them from flexing the motherboard PCI-Express slots.

I noticed via this review that the HAF-X has something like that built in. Looks like it only supports two GPUs, though it also looks like there would be room for two. As a bonus you can mount a 80mm fan on them.
